About Us

About Trinity Music Lessons.

Trinity Music Lessons is dedicated to providing quality music education to our students. We believe that students of all ages can learn and can enjoy the benefits of taking lessons. We are also committed to working with each student and developing a teaching plan according to each individual student's needs. Not all students learn the same way and they shouldn't have to! We operate our business with honesty and integrity and strive for excellence in everything we do.

Here is some background on one of our teachers and the founder of Trinity Music Lessons.

Hi, my name is Carrie Butler, but my students affectionately refer to me as Miss Carrie. I began teaching privately in 2003 and have been doing so ever since.

I was the kind of child who craved music, it interested me and I loved it. I received countless music awards in elementary school, got selected for All County Choir, went to state competition with my show choir and made it into several music ensembles before my parents realized I could benefit from private lessons.

In middle school I started piano lessons and moved so quickly that my teacher literally told my mom she didn’t know what to do with me. I continued on in high school taking voice training as well. I participated in Chamber Choir, Show Choir (national competitions), Theatre, and more. My love for music continually became embedded in the fibers of my life. I knew when I graduated high school I wanted to continue my passion music.

I attended a small private Bible College, majoring in Theology and minoring in both music and Christian Counseling. While in school, I started Piano Lessons again to learn how to really play contemporary music. I had only been taught classically and I had no idea how to play in a band or accompany myself on the piano when I would sing. I soon learned how to play in a band setting and started leading worship. I also started writing songs and performing at different venues. The bible college ended up cutting the music program before I was finished so I graduated with my Bachelor’s in Theology. After graduation I set out and recorded my first album. I had taken to songwriting and was exploring producing as well. I signed that album to an Independent Label out of Nashville. From there I toured and released several singles. My songs charted in a few local markets and even hit #1 in a few places.

After touring I returned home and settled down. I married my husband in 2007 and have been happily married ever since. We have three children and love the life God has blessed us with. I have been music director, band leader and worship leader in many churches since then. I privately teach, on average, about 30 students per week. I love teaching and seeing music become a passion in lives of others.
